Aupair / babysitter / nanny daily childcare duties : The job is to support our spanish family in our house here in Barcelona with primarily babysitting for the new born twins during their initial months but also to support the general household with cleaning, laundry, shopping and cooking. We have a live-in for our young daughter now and need to find an aupair / babysitter / nanny mature, calm, responsible and discreet who has had new born baby experience. Nights will be important to ensure the babies are tended to with support for my wife who will be recovering in bed mostly during the first weeks. The babysitter / nanny / aupair position should start during next month and continue for a few months at a minimum. We prefer to have the babysitter / nanny / aupair position filled by someone who already has an apartment in Barcelona otherwise a room will be made available in the house. The babysitter / nanny / aupair job will pay a monthly salary depending on the level of experience and accomodation issue.
We are relaxed and loving parents. We have a wonderful young daughter of 1 yr and are expecting twins in a month or so - so the family will grow. Mum is Spanish ( Catalan ) and dad is American from NYC. We are a modern spanish family - mum in her mid-30s and I'm 43. Our ideal is to find someone that has many years experience that would already be in Barcelona (either Spanish or foreign with papers) that is looking for a permanent position with a great young family . We live in Saria and spend time away in the beach and mountains.

Aupair / babysitter / nanny daily childcare duties : We have 1 year old twins and naturally there is a lot of work. Mum stays (and works when she can) at home, but she needs someone gentle and patient aupair to help with the babies and the house work. Occasional evening babysitting .
We would like to find someone who could really integrate into our spanish family and we would do everything to make this babysitter / nanny / aupair feel very much respected and loved as any other member of our family . There is a lot of work but it will be very much a shared effort. For the first 6 month dad be able to be with the twins full time. And as we don't have family in Spain with all the nice grandparents queuing to take care of the babies there were just the four of us battling through. Now dad is back to work and the twins need some very loving and caring babysitter / nanny / aupair who could help their parents .
A few words about the parents, young, open-minded, international, have lived and worked in quite a few countries (UK, USA, Ireland, Netherlands) before settling down in Spain . Dad is a mathematician and mum is an art photographer working with dance-theatre, both are passionate about travel, art and mountains. The main languages of the family are English and Spanish . In the main part of the profile it is stated that babysitter / nanny / aupair must speak English and Spanish . The form has been a bit rigid and of course the babysitter / nanny / aupair are welcome if she speak only one language out of three: English, Spanish or German.
We live in a big house with garden and pool close to Barcelona . About 30 min by car or train to the city , with the train arriving directly to Passeig de Gracia metro and train station which is a very central part of Barcelona with all its buzz of a stylish, cultural and cosmopolitan city . It's very green and picturesque and mountains ( Montseny national park is a paradise for hikers ) are nearby so babysitter / nanny / aupair can mountain-bike directly from home. The sea is only 20 min away by car. If babysitter / nanny / aupair can drive, she could have a car, not for his sole use but very often. We would love to find this very special, loving, caring babysitter / nanny / aupair as soon as possible.

Aupair / babysitter / nanny daily childcare duties : Taking care of children aged 8, 4 and 2 when they are not at school. Everything around children duties and education. That means getting children ready for school. Sometimes pick them up and when they arrive at home (by 17:30) Give them a snack, play with them, give them dinner (I usually have dinner ready or half ready). While they are in school some support with household chores, ironing, tidying up, wasching up. Occasional evening babysitting .
We are a spanish family living in a residential area very close to Barcelona . The train station is at 5 minutes walk and there are trains that take you to Barcelona every 3/10 minutes. They take you to the center of Barcelona in about 20 minutes. Me and my husband work in Barcelona center. We have got three children and although they all go to school and nursery, we need an aupair / babysitter / nanny to help us in the mornings before they go to school and in the afternoon / evening when they come back. So the babysitter / nanny / aupair will have plenty of time for studying or enjoying his time in Barcelona . I am usually at home in the afternoon so you will not be very often alone with the three children . We need to feel our children are in "good hands". We all speak Spanish but my husband speaks native English too as he was grown up in England and I speak good English and French too.
